I got a reckless driving for 95 in a 65 on i-64 on my way home for the holidays. What am i looking at over this? Just need some insight as this is my first ticket in VA.

 

damn dude i just had reckless but they let me go then i got a speeding ticket and i gotta go back to court next month. If your a minor they might give you community service or take your license. I suggest you take a driver improvement class that helps out alot in court

I saw someone get offf on a technacality today, asked for the officers 6month radar calibration (which he didnt have) some code says that they should have it in court and be able to prove to the devendent.....etc... worth looking into If that ticket was in VA beach, you can be certain your going to jail, even first affence sometimes.

unless you're super lucky you'll prob go to jail for a few days... not too bad.. you could prob get the judge to let you serve it on weekends so you don't lose you job

 

My friend got a 95/55. Look at a couple days in jail, and count on losing your license. Oh yeah, get a good lawyer.

 

If it was VA Beach, look up Larry Slipow if you want a lawyer.

I had a street racing ticket about a year ago and I used him for my case. This was my 3rd ticket so I was sure I was going to jail or something. He got the ticket reduced to general reckless driving. I got ZERO license suspension time, ZERO jail time, and only a $250 fine. Thats it.

 

probally wont go to jail.i just got bac from a 95-55 i got 2 years probation 50 hours community service no suspended licens driver improvment and a wreckless on my record of course.and this was in glouchster(sp) the meanist judge around

 

A friend of mine got a ticket for 23 over in a 60mph zone I think, he got 100 hours community service.
