I was wondering if anyone from the area is planning on going to daytona bike week.Its March 4-13th,we are only going for friday,saturday and coming back on sunday.As of now its going to be 2 busas,a r1,a zx-6r,and 2 r6's going down.If you want to ride down with us let me know.

I'm planning on being there sometime during the March 3rd-6th weekend, a friend is racing at Daytona in the CCS/F-USA races so I'm going down to work his pit, but I most likely won't have my bike.

 

i would love to go but gotta see what's up with gettin off work. how long would it take to ride there? i know in a car, but any idea on bike?

 

I would love to go down there again, I went last year (without my bike though) and had an absolute blast! I’m planning on either going to Myrtle Beach or Daytona. It depends on which one work lets me have off.

I would like to go down there with everyone, but ride down there? Geezz, that’s a long ride. My balls hurt so bad the felt like they were going to fall off just riding to Ocean City Maryland lol. If I go, I’m defiantly towing the bike.

If I go the bike will be in the back of the pickup.................no way I'd ride a total of 30 hours on the highway in one weekend!

 

Im not sure how long it will take,I went to Atlanta for the Nopi Nationals in sept. and it was 600 miles from my house and took exactly 8 hours with 4 stops for gas,but that was in a car.Its 700 miles to daytona beach.It should take a bunch more stops(I get about 170-180 miles to the tank),however we should be traveling faster than we were in the car.

 

made it to daytona in 10 hrs from dc. Man going there sucks
