Sorry, i don't know where exactly to post this, but i have a problem with my Alpine CD Changer (CHA-1204) and the Controller (CRA-1655RF).
Anyways, it says "EXTERNAL" on the controller display, and have no idea what it means, i checked the manual pdf and google but can't find an answer anywhere.
So far, i know its not a connection or power problem cuz the display on the controller is working, and when i press the buttons nothing happens.

Anyone know what to do or where to find an answer?

try to reset the unit, 9 time out of ten this works for me. there should be a little pin sized button on the changer itself. it should be near where the cartrage slides in.

Maybe a wire or connection is loose.
