I appreciate dragva a lot and its a great site. I just dont like it when people post something they need or are selling and it gets lil interist so they bump it 3 or more times in a day. I think its rude to throw everyone elses threads in the boondocks just cause there trying to do only one bump a day. Maybe im just ranting but its how I feel sometimes. I know it would be hard to regulate but im just asking for people to cool off and let general interist take its course and they will find a buyer or seller. thanks, Dave

 

Moderators depeond on you for things like this, we can't personally monitor every single post in every single thread.

If you see someone bumping a thread more than they should use the Report Bad Post link (its the icon with the ! in it) so the moderators will be aware of it.

 

i agree with that to a certain point, but if you see your shit down 5 pages in 2 hours, well, thats not good for business either.


if anything, id limit forsale/wanted stuff to users with more than 100 posts. if thats even possible.

 

Anything is possible, but I'd imagine there's quite a few people that sign up only for the classified forums. Every once and a while one of them tries to venture into the "real" forums and is almost always banned the next day because they can't follow some simple rule. So if we were to do something like that then amount of pure crap in other forums would go up dramatically.

 

in summation:

for the love of god, if you see someone doing something they shouldn't be doing, don't hesitate to report their post.

the best type of moderation comes from a peer basis; it doesn't take long to report a post, and helps the board in general filter out the people who don't belong here.

well, i reported victum when posted pics of his ugly lip rings and i didnt see any kind of reprecution [sp]

 

thats disguisting. he should leave sharing his piercings to close friends only. Im sure if you complained twice the admins would get it covered as long as they deem it right.
