More info on this "hookah" craze. Is it tobacco? Cost? Atmosphere?

well you can get small or large heads (amount of tobacco), small head will last a good hour with 3 or 4 people smoking, and if you split it with someone you're talking about a good hour and half of chilling out, relaxing, listening to good music for about $2 a person. Large heads are a little more, maybe $1/person but last 2x as long generally

hookah pulls the tobacco smoke through water... best when the water is cold. it doesn't burn at all, its just like taking deep breaths but you're getting an insane amount of smoke usually. can get different flavors, i like citrus flavors (orange is always good)

if you have your own hookah, mixing different flavors can be cool... never smoke a whole bowl of mint, it doesn't taste that great by itself but if you mix mint with anything it will give it a nice cooling effect

lol no quite the opposite, i am very anti-popped-collar. i don't know anything about a craze, me and my friends were wandering back from a party on roanoke street once and saw the hookah lounge and checked it out, and have been going about once a week to hang out ever since.

unless you're completely opposed to smoking, its something you should check out if you have the chance. the lounge here at VT just has some couches and plays iron & wine or whatever music they feel like and you just kind of hang out. sounds lame but its relaxing
