I have one moving violation back in '03 not reckless either. ive tried geico, allstate, statefarm, USAA, goodville, and esurance. Im trying to pay less than a grand every 6 months. I have an improper/invalid registration as well on the record. any ideas? I want comprehensive / collision. thanks.

i was gonna suggest progressive, but i doubt you'd get comprehensive/collision for less than a grand a term... well, maybe, but only if you pay a lump sum every six months... if you're gonna do monthly payments, forget it.
i too say gmac. i was paying 120 a month when i was 19. also, if you're in the area of hampton/newport news. on warwick blvd. there is a place called hp insurance company right next to todds stadium. start there. they go through many companys to find you the lowest company. they do carry gmac. also, if you really wanna be cheap, try al vincents on mercury. call him and see what he says about insurance. i'm sure you'd be surprised with the quote he'd give you. very very cheap.
With insurance you get what you pay for. Don't go around looking for the back alleyway insurance company and end up getting screwed when you really need help.
all this crap about runnin you through a bazillion diff companys is crap..they are all non -standard companys.. as put before, you get what you pay for.. go with a standard company. it will deff work out in the long run.. wife works at allstate...
