I dont know if this is possible but i was told that you can hook up a GSR ECU to a 99 honda civic OBD 2B i think it is without haveing any problems and haveing a significant gain In both HP and Torque. Not really sure about this statement kind of think it is bogus but was just wondering? Let me know. Oh and the GSR ecu is OBD 2B also.
The GSR ECU is mapped for a dual runner (IAB) setup, so it's mapped wrong for your engine. Also, you'll get an IAB CEL because your D16 doesn't have an IAB solenoid. Oh yeah, you'll get a knock sensor CEL because you don't have that either. Yes, it will plug in, and yes, it will work, but it should throw a CEL.
