I know this has been put up plenty of times but i am trying to get a good detailed description of how to put together a ls/vtec motor. Ive searched for a good guide on the how to and i cant seem to find anything but forums. If anyone can help me out id appreciate it.

what do you want to know, how to put it together, or what components to used?....everyone has different opinions on components, but most are in the same idea......i think my ls vtec turned out just fine and i used a mix of stock, and aftermarket parts.....

 

your gonna need a b16 head a oil line a new special type of headgasket... i may of forgot something

 

no he does not need a special type of headgaket....

i know scc, or superstreet did a huge article on this, they listed all the parts you need, and exaclty what steps. problem is i dont remember what month it was you could probably search their sites tho and find it

 

Ya i had both issues but i threw them away not knowing what was to come my way.
