i saw one today up in a body shop on ellet rd. just thought i would meniton it cause it was tight as hell. anyone seen it riding around or is it just sitting in the garage? its the orange pearl version. real tight.

 

yeah those are cool...but are they even fast?

 

They are actually pretty quick...not super or turbo charged, but does have a well tuned engine 3.5L V6 puttin out in the mid 200 HP range (253 I think) , and they weight in just under 2800 lbs.

 

Only in autos though. Give me one with a LS1 swap and id take it in a heart beat.

 

i hate the HOT ROD look though...

i never really like those type of cars, just ugly and old lookin in my tastes IMO.

i feel like the car is going to break apart if it hits a bump. im really suprised the thing passed the 5mph bumper test.

The orange one is owned by an older guy that works in B'burg. I talked to him one day in Salem at a car show. He used to have some special edition PT cruzer and traded it in on that Prowler. He was a nice guy, nothing special.

He was all excited he got the $5,000 matching trailer for it too.

As for more around town I only know of one in Radford. Going out to my gf's house in Snowville (far side of Radford) there is a guy out there who has one. Never leaves the garage unless its 80 or above and not a cloud in the sky.

There are a few Prowlers around. I see a purple one a lot too. They're sort of cool... Would be nice if they had more power. Better than a freaking PT Cruiser at least.
