Friday the 11th is a track day with TPM I believe, and then we're racing Saturday and Sunday.

 

hoping to be there but it will be a last minute decision for sure

 

where exactly is VIR? and whats the event? I've never really gotten into bike racing, but it would be a blast to go to one.

The event is the WERA race.

you should definetly come check it out if you've never been, nothing like watching a advanced rider come through the kink at around 160 mph for the first time

yea i was never ballsy/skilled enough to keep my 1000 pinned wide open from T17 to T1, but damn its wild to watch a guy in the racer group on a liter bike go through there and not let off the throttle

 

I was just making shit up! Never ridden at VIR myself, just watched. But I would have judged them to have been at least above 120........


But I'll get my chance soon enough!


I could never ride a liter bike on a track myself...........no ease of throttle control in the turns as you have with a 600. I can control my bike pretty well with the throttle alone. You don't have that same throttle response with a liter bike. Too much damn power..................

 

Race plastics ordered, damper should be ordered by tonight, tires will be picked up from TPM that weekend. 8 and a wake up!
