I searched first, and didn't come up with anything. Before I hit the yellow pages tomorrow, I am checking with you all to see if anyone knows anyone around here that is good at this. (unfortunately, mitsu never made a black oem headliner.)

I could do this, but I have enough on my plate already. I want quality first, something that will last.

hmm i have tan carpet ... could it be dyed black so i dont have to fork out the $350 for black oem honda carpet?

 

A+W could redo the headliner. 671-7933. Trey did the headliner in our 6 door f-350. You would think it was factory.

 

Okay, that takes care of the headliner. I am guessing that the fabric will just be replaced.

That leaves me with dying the charcoal carpet to black.

 

I know a guy who dyed his mustangs carpets black and omg it looks terrible 2-3 years later.

Tomorrow, I will start calling if nothing else is posted here. I want a FULL refund if that happens. Unless this is normal? I don't know much about dye.

If it wears away that quickly, well, mitsu will have to rape me for a new carpet.

 

How much is it from the dealership? Have you looked into any of the aftermarket stuff? I know you can buy different colors for hondas and such, but I'm not sure about the 3kgt.

 

Jay, there are people that come to our dealership, the company is called Dr. Vinyl. They basically dye/color match anything you want...

I wouldnt buy aftermarket unless you have to Jay, I have had 3 aftermarket carpets in my truck and they have all gone in the trash can within 6 months, I have NO carpet at all right now, because all these aftermarket ones suck.
