i know this is kind of an unrelated question

but would a machine shop be the right place to go to get a custom steering wheel hub?

the company that makes my wheel sucks and i need a hub that's longer (pushes teh wheel about 2" closer to me)

would a machine shop be able to do that easily? and how much would it cost?

I think it was these guys that did my work for me, I had them refab a aluminum blower bracket for me a while back. Give em a call, they might be able to help.
