Its funny......

1.Seeing motorcycle riders wearing full gear and there passagers only have a Helment on. I guess they dont really care about there girlfriends?

2. Motorcycle rider putting there legs over the handle bars(Forgot what its called) on the worst highway ever(64 near North Hampton) With a passager and wearing no gear besides her helment.

Me driving next to them waiting for something to happen So I can laugh at them. Thought to share because I'm Bored........

lol i know thats crazy the rider can at least give up teh jacket or somethin. on a different note i think everyone and there mother who owns a bike was out tonight. norfolk state was pretty packed. good times and no tickets.

 

Are there alot of people who hang out in norfolk state who rides? Were at ? Might go there one day if I feel brave.

 

That first one is so irresponsible. As people that ride, we know very well the risks we are subjecting ourselves too. While it seems quite obvious, not everyone fully realizes this danger. I just can't fathom how someone would allow a person they care about ride without any gear. Maybe they really don't care about them, lol. I never let anyone ride unless they have at least as much protection as I have. Even if im giving a friend a ride in a parking lot so they can see what its like. Ill give them my stuff to wear and ill go gearless.

 

yea the geared up rider and passenger with a not legal chrome german helmet, a halter top and daisy dukes always gets me, personally i wouldn't want the liability

 

at the 7 -11 off of brambleton. everyone that hangs out over there is real cool. i was gettin clowned yesterday cause i was drivin like a bitch and some members from a bike club were following us in there truck over there. i have bad night vision and i forgot to change my visor over to the clear one (i had the mirrored one on and i couldnt see shit) but its all good. we had some laughs, hung out and talked. theres a few clubs that roll out that way. i saw one id never seen before and few from last year i saw around. all in all a good meeting spot if you wanna ride deep and theres only a few of ya or your by yourself.

Yeah, riders nowadays have no integrity/honor. Why ride with any gear if you are going to do something like that? My wife and I wear the same safety gear - helmet, jacket, full fingered gloves, pants, boots above the ankles. That is the least we ever ride with.

I went down with that same setup as above and came out without a scratch. I have seen some that haven't and do they ever have scars to prove it! Some of the newbies (and oldies, too) should take heed and learn from this example.

some people just dont care. i never let my girl ride without gloves, helmet,and the joe rocket jacket i bought her .and i have been thinking about getting some nice pants for her any one with suggestions on somethin protective but not bulky enuf for her to complain about putting them on
