Ok i have a SOHC and my car will not go in gear..i know my tranny is bad i am getting that fixed..what is the problem..when i got ion my car this morning my clutch has so much play..i puch it down like 6 inches and its doesnt catch till the bottom..i hate my car..can anyone help..

 

have you checked your fluid level, master cylinder could be empty or your slave cylinder leaking like a champ, a leaky or broke fluid line or you could have possibly destroyed your throwout bearing somehow.....

 

i really dont know where its at..let me know and ill go outside and check..its is leaking though..

sounds like you have air in the clutch line. it's probably caused by that leak you said you have. did this happen suddenyl or over a long period of time?

what year is your car? where is it leaking from?.....the master cylinder is located near the firewall, next to the brake master cylinder, the slave cylinder is located on the transmission.....which one is it leaking from, and is there fluid on the inside of your car near the clutch pedal?.....just called you to try and help a brotha out, haha, no answer though...

 

well, good , glad its working now, replace the master cylinder as soon as possible, cause you dont want this shit happening again.......
