Cash to whoever swaps my block
ANd I seriously doubt this is a day project. Are you installing a completely new bottom end, because your block is not the only problem, you will need rods, bearing, pistons, blah blah.
im not retarded, i have a brand new head gasket and whoever looses sleep over intake mani gaskets never heard of gasket sealant. block is complete and is ready to go. I just wanted someone with expierence with honda swaps and maybe a engine hoist. and yes it wouldnt take that long. we are talking 6 hours probably to drop my motor out, take off my flywheel and attatch it to the new block, bolt block back to the tranny and mount it all up and get everything re attatched.

I can do it. Sent you a pm. And why do you doubt it can be done in one day? I've done a b16 swap in my 91 hatch. in less than 10 hours of actual work. As long as we can get start early in the morning and he has everything, would be no problem.

i absolutely agree......ive done shortblocks swaps in 6-7 hours 3 or 4 times, but i never slack on the new raplacement parts, people that take short cuts end up paying for it in the long run.....so i always use new parts whenever i do a swap cause i dont like having to come back later and people think it was my fault, replacing old gaskets and seals is where its at.....

i could do the swap.. but $150???? yeah ill get right on that.
damn its like you know what kind of condition my intake gasket is in lol, its actually in great shape but for 23.99 ill buy a new one and then i will have all the new gaskets needed and if someone says anything about exhaust mani gasket im going to really laugh. yeah there are a lot of guys that can do this swap in that timeframe and i dont see whats wrong with me asking for some help on my first swap when its my only form of transportation. the block is being replaced because water got into my cai, so thats to everyone making false assumptions. ignorance is bliss.
