Default Reasonable change color paint job in 757?

I have a 94 Accord. It is malachite green, but I would like to change the color. Which shop around here can do a decent job for cheap? my budget is between $300 to $500. Is this possible?
The paint is stripping on my hood and fenders. Does the color that it is changing to affect the price? tell me your opinions without flames. I am new to the area. Thanks alot.

there probably isn't any where around here that will do a decent job for that money. Best advice is to deal with it a little longer until you can build up your budget.

Paint is one of those things where you get what you pay for. Even the bottom of the barrel places like Maaco and Earl Scheib will run you about $500.

Maybe there are some individuals who can hook you up, but no shops that I know of.

When you say full color change, that can be quite expensive... What paint do you have in mind?

^ agreed. Decent paint goes for about $500 (my friend just bough the supplies for $460 and thats without the cost of tape and paint stripper.) that shte clear the catalyst hardner and the other neccesary stuff that will give you a lasting paint job and the prep is even more imprtant to be done right than having the right paint so expect to pay over $500 in labor for a good job.

Well, I know I am going to get flamed for this, but I like bright colors. I am the type of person who will wear yellow or orange T-shirts.
I am thinking of a color somwhere in that area, between yellow or orange or something like that. I want to put a lip kit on my car as well.

I drive a non-vtech accord. It would take too much money to make it fast. After getting my first ticket, I didnt really want to drive fast on street anymore.

I love cars though, and I want to get into racing at the track but I dont have enough money to buy a race car like a extra civic or a teg as yet.
I am still in grad school.

I want to start going to races and stuff though. I used to be a volunteer member of SCCA. I just want to go to the track and support until I can join in. Any advice is welcomed.
Thanks
