I just moved to manassas, va for a job offer with a company called Micron. I'm originally from suffolk, va and I'm really having trouble finding shit to do or people to relate to out here. Everyone just keeps saying "go to dc, it's fun", but I'm not really a clubbing/museum type of guy. So, anyone out there know of any car meet spots or just something to do?

 

there is a coupleca spots to meet up in manasssas and there is a big car meet every first staurday night of the month in woodbirdge there is one this saturday i'm going to shoot you a pm

 

where is this meet at? I'm in Manassas.

 

I'm lived in Manassas for 22 years (all my life).. and every weekend.. Friday.. and Saturday.. maybe about 75-100 cars (or more) show up at the Burger King by the Manassas Airport by the bypass.. people just call it "BK in Manassas" and everyone knows what they mean. People don't really race or do anything there.. I use to go a lot about a year or two ago. People just go.. park there cars.. usually go to BK to get food.. walk around.. talk to people. and there were meets at Fairfax Corner.. dunno if those are still going on.. last I heard the owners told them no more.. and now there's meets in Woodbridge.. but Manassas has a few spots.. cops all know about it so if you go.. just behave.. once people start doing stupid shit they usually kick everyone out.

 

BK by the bypass has meets every weekend. If you are old enough to drink, there is KC's, City Tavern and O'Mearas.

 

Is the bk thing like what they do at chik fil a in sterling? Theres a few of those in the area, mostly old farts but still always nice cars

 

yeah BK is just a meet.. it use to be pretty big.. dunno about it now.. haven't been there is over a year. i got sick of all the rice and immature kids running around.

 

yea rice meets don't usually interest me, used to like hearing all the positive comments on my Prelude though.

 

that is why the one in woddbridge is nice cause there is no rice ......lol

 

The Woodbridge Meet this saturday is probably going to be huge. There are no more meets at FFX town center, and it will be posted whenever we decide to go back to Chic Fil A.
