Well i am putting my block off plates on the RX7 and was just wondering who here got rid of the oil metering pump and premixs the 2 cycle in the gas instead? I am thinking about doing it since it seems run cleaner and I wouldnt have to worry about the pump going out and destroying the motor. I know it will be a pain in the ass to carry 2 cycle around and put it in every fill up but since this isnt my daily i can live with that. Also wondering what ratios yall use? I hear 100:1 is a good balence.

Thats cool. If i have any questions ill let ya know. I have been reading about it all day and I see no reason to not do it. Other then it is a pain. Cant wait to see the looks on people faces at the gas station when I am pooring oil in the gas tank.

 

My friend has a race cell and has to open the hatch to fuel his car up, imagine those looks.

Of course his is a Streetported, Carbed, Turbo, 12a, first gen. But its all good.

 

lol. Well looks like i wont need to worry about premix. Damn thing wont start agian. It is doing wat it did before so i guess there is still a loose wire in there somewhere. Damn furl pump isnt working now ethier. Its weird it started first try and ran fine this morining. Now i go to drive it and bam nothing. RX 7's are a headache.
