Ok....cold start up a few nights ago...engine idels rough and stutters..acts like it wants to fuckin die......it dies..3 times..start it up..gets warm..stops.....Changed plugs and wires......Does the same damn thing before.....i rember we changed the eltronic timing module awhile back...before i bought the car i know it was done cus i found the old one and a repair bill from magic city shoved in the trunk...done shelled out 30 bucks for wires and around 8 for plugs...Any idea what it could be this time...


Only happens upon the first cold start of the day...fine for the rest of the day...and yes its throttle body'ed and it has been raining

clean or replace the IAC. check for Vac. leaks.

IAC is most likely on them though.

Eh...i just want it to last till iam done paying off collage.....crap is expensive seeing as how i work 40 hours a week and i am still broke....

Iam looking at this but..insurance is gonna bite me eaither way, Iam only paying 300 bucks a year for the escort because its being "loaned" to me by my gran so its under her policy...for me to get a jeep...or anything worth while and have it under my own policy is about 2k+ a talon was around 3k for me.......

Trying to find another "cheaper" but affordable car to run around and and thats not gonna die on me....OR...Just drop in another engine.....Old Domion is were i got this engine the first time and it only cost me about 250...

torn between droping in another engine *400 bucks or less* .......or buying another car
