they are considered a d16 engine but they are essentially a zc motor with lower compression. yes they are good motors just not very powerful. 113-118 hp from what i remember
so since its a d16 u can put all d series parts on them such as turbo kits and stuff like that
from what i remember you can use normal d16 parts on it. the turbo manifold will be a little off on the exhaust ports but its nothing major. you cannot use a sohc d series intake manifold on it. most everything else should work
