looks like i might have fucked up a rod bearing. got a good bit of clanking comming from the engine. only thing im not sure about is if rod tap is constant and doesnt go away regardless of what rpm your at? i know its not a bent valve cause timing lines match perfect. anyone know what this might be? its on a 95 gst

i would if i could but its my only way to work. tryin to avoid spending another 3 grand to get a new motor. dont plan on having the car very long so im just tryin to get it fixed as god as possible

 

take the oil pan off check all your bearings then replace them..dont keep driving like that because it will mees up the crank..then your just gonna spend more money

 

rod knock is loudest at about 3k rpms. whats your oil pressure look like?

 

oil pressure looks normal but im goin by the stock gauge
