Car wont rev Past 5k

Car wont rev Past 5k
Friend of mine installed a new clutch in his car, and since then it wont rev past 5k, and we dunno why...

did u put all the sensors back if u happened to on the tranny, check all under the car for loose connections etc. are there any codes thrown or anything

it probably is clutch related, but it could very well be your timing, or fuel filter. Does it cut out at 5k? or will it just stay right at 5k?

you don't drive a 240 do you? didn't think so.

all sensors are hooked up, no codes are being thrown,

i would also just to be sure to check ur fuel pressure, hey u never kno i had that problem, it COULD be the maf but i doubt it, what does it do at 5k rpms does it sputter or is it like a redline. can u rev past 5k in neutral

no it jus wont go any further... it gets fuel n all jus wont go any higher..
