Weird ass ignition problem
Okay so I'm completely fucking clueless what would cause this. Any tips would help (and save me an expensive trip to the dealership).
Sometimes when I go to start my car, I go to turn it over and there's nothing. Nothing at all. BUT for some reason, if I pop trunk, get out of the car, and close my trunk, then the car starts up.
This is fucking weird to me. And its been happening more and more often, been going on for a little over a month and at first it only happened once or twice a week but over the weekend it would happen a few times a day... basically like 1/3 times I go to start my car.
Any ideas? Only thing I can think of is some kind of short in the ignition, which I wouldn't be able to fix myself which means more $$ out of my pocket.

looks like my best chance is to get my car serviced for the recall and hope that solves this problem...
i have had several mess up due to contact issues, and Honda only recalled it for a certain thing, like most recalls.
the key to it being a switch is you can barely move the key and it will make contact. try doing a wiggle test on it next time it does it.
