The cars check engine light came on and has not gone off? Everything seems to be fine? So if I dont know whats wrong I cant fix it. It has 40,325 miles and everything checks out with the basics car runs fine? Any suggestions any way to turn off, is it a real problem ? I dont want to go to dealer? Thanks in Advance.

 

You can pull the battery cable to reset it but you really should find out why it tripped. Take it to autozone and have them pull the code they do it for free. Then go from there.

 

My moms honda does that crap when you need to change the oil.... knows every 3k somehow im guessing O_o ... but it's supposed to eventually go out... her's did after i think she said 3 days... not sure if its the oil but thats what i did to it and it finally went out...
