nopi pro racing = garbage
i was just wondering if anyone else thought the pro classes at nopi were lame. i mean if not for the bikini contest or the car show who would have went? the pro compact class only had three cars! a few other pro classes only had five or six cars also.

Yah I'm wondering if there will be more teams coming out as the season goes on. I know Darrel Cox/mopar made there frist race in NOPI at VMP. I'm wondering where Lisa Kubo is. Is she still racing for GM?
Also it could be that there is a lot of conflict with NHRA scheduling.
I know 2 years ago I went to the VMP NOPI and there was a very small turn out of pro cars, but then I went to Bristol and there was a lot bigger turnout over all including pro cars

Did you guys ever think maybe 80% chance of rain Saturday possibly scared people away? Honestly, I was extremely disappointed with the show portion of the event. All the big name cars were at HIN in Charlotte.
last year was better... but thats because we had an amazing forcast...
so many didnt come out because of the weather this year...
each trip sets a pro competitor back X amount of dollars, and if it would have rained then they would have been out that dollar figure because VMP would have made the races up another time, so then two trips to VA would have been made... not worth it to some of the competitors... should have went to the MIR ndra event...
its amazing what a positive forcast will do for the turnout.
