Default hey, whats the courteous way of parking your bike at places

whats the proper way to park your bike, at places.....grocery stores, convinience stores, places like that........


should you really take a whole spot by your self ?

Yup, I do everytime. If they don't wanna make a motorcycle parking spot made of concrete it's on them. I have no qualms with taking up a whole spot and letting my kickstand sink into the pavement. Serves them right.

In florida, I used to pull right up onto the sidewalk and park by the entrance. Seems like people around here don't like that though so I take up a whole parking spot. I don't have a problem if another motorcyclist parks next to my bike in the same space but all I ask is to not be blocked in. If I am, I will move the bike for you so that I can get out.

Yes sir, I don't want some moron trying to share my space and hit/knock over my bike. I also will not park near the entrance as that's asking for children to touch/climb on it.

i always take up a whole space.. why should you not?

if im by myself, i usually park at the end it so that people can see it when they pull up instead of them starting to pull in just to notice a bike is taking up the space.
