im trying to install an AEM V2 intake on my 98 civic ex m/t. i need to replace the stock transmission mount with the one provided, where do i start with that? do i need to place a jack under the tranny?

im an idiot, and pretty unexperienced, so try to explain in ways i could even understand...... thanks

 

Yeah get a floor jack and put a peice of wood on it...... then put the jack under the tranny close to the mount as possibale........jack up the jack till it hits the tranny and then change out mount its that simple pm if you have anymore questions

 

yeah what he said...i just replaced my rear transmission mount and its a peice of cake...just jack up the car and change it...should be very simple

i don't wanna pay.... do i really need to jack the tranny? i tried my self with everything jacked, and the nut on the jelly mount part came off simply, but the ones on the bracket itself wouldn't budge even with liberal amounts of wd-40
