Default HID's on a bike

i have noticed a couple new bikes come from the factory with HIDs......i was wondering on my 99 r6 if it was possible to buy a kit and put them on my bike?

There are kits out there; and I hear they are awesome. A little pricey though. Like $600 or so.

what bikes are coming with them now?... Alfie on here had some in his K4 gsxr 600, looked awesome and i dont' think he spent much

i saw a brand new r1 the other night that looked like it had HIDs....i was just wondering.....

they have like projector lenses that give it that look, my friend has a 03 R6 that when he's behind me i'd swear he has HID but its just regular xenon bulbs

I put silverstars in my bike, they are close to looking like HID, much brighter cleaner look and only $40 for the pair.

ok then i guess the next question......the bulbs in a bikes headlight are the same as in a car, right? if so where would i go to find out what series bulbs my r6 uses....the book i have just tells you how to replace them

Your bike takes a standard H4 bulb.
