Is the legal limit for window tint vary from county to county or is it statewide?

If there's a state limit what is it?

 

It's statewide, and the legal limit for VA is 35 up front and 50 in the rear. I'm pretty sure.

 

Or 15 up front and 35 in the rear. Just go and ask a tint shop.

 

haha wow thats crazy, i just got 5% in my back window...oh well

 

In a car it's 35% all over and in a truck, not suv, truck as no limit on the back window and everywhere else is 35%

got that backwards. it's 35 in the rear windows and 50 on the front 2.

Thats way to dark. i had 20 on my integra and i couldn't see shit at night. but i got a ticket right before i sold it and the officer told me the laws. It's felony(sp?) to apply tint that dark but not to have it.... but he told me everythign was a felony like selling a car with exhaust

 

Yeah I knew it was something like that, that's why I put "I'm pretty sure", but thanks for correcting me. I had 15% on all the windows in my Civic before I totalled it.
