Is all of Western Virginia dead, or what? It's a miracle to log on at the end of the day and see even one new thread or one reply to an old thread per day in here lately.

I think maybe we should all try to get out and be more active at the very least, as a group of some sort. Anyone into bowling or putt putt or anything? lol... I know there's not a ridiculous amount of things to do, but we can make the most of it! Thunder Valley? I don't care. I'd like to meet some of you who I have not met, and see those of you who I do know again. I don't get out much anymore.

 

Actually, I thought about organizing a miniature golf tournament at Thunder Valley. I just have been too busy to do anything about it. A good friend of mine owns the place, and we can do it on a day they are closed.

now probably wasnt the best time to bring this up because most people i know in this part of the forum go to radford or tech, and everyone is either leaving or already gone. try something in mid to late august

 

If nothing else, a get-together will still apply for Roanoke area members. Would expect to meet a lot less people, but there are still plenty of Roanoke and surrounding area members. I'd rather meet up when the weather is nice than have a sweater meet. LOL!

 

We definatly need to get a meet together. Dunno where we could hold it but some place other than fast freddy's. If at all possible we need to set it at least a month in advance and try and keep the news away from ricers. It would be nice to just have a nice car meet! Perhaps on the parkway or something? I'd like to get something together over the summer for a track day at VIR but that is gonna cost $$. Maybe we could all attend one of the HPDE's this summer?

How about a day at thunder valley and we all could enjoy some kick ass go-karting or something...i used to run lan parties under the name LAN Master's but quickly was overtaken by my "old" partner admiral for star city lan....iam debating holding another solo event....Anyone got any ideas ?

I am all for it, except the fact that i work every sat and sun so yeah im all for it i just need like a month in advance.
