Default power door locks/96 civic.

i had power door locks installed by someone on here and he has since moved. well, the other day, the actuators that were put in both locked up at the same time. this has happened once before, and he replaced the actuators. but this time, its weird. i cant manually lock the doors either. so basically, my car is unlocked 24/7. my alarm still works, as does my remote start, and they all run off the same remote/system. i havent taken the door panels off yet to check the actuators, but i was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what could cause something like this to happen not just once, but twice? and why it didnt completely seize my locks the first time like it did this time? if you have any input, please let me know. ill probably take a look at them tonight. thanks in advance.

the first ones that were put in were brand new. the ones he replaced them with were from an integra. the same thing happened twice.

not much of one to know much about the power locks but is there a possibility that they are binding up, are they aligned right? never look at one so not sure.
