helping a friend out on his 98 prelude with internals but the oil light is on and blinking.what are some possible solutions besides checking the dipstick.please help guys...thanks

 

if the oil light is blinking that means hes losing oil pressure, thats a dummy light and i believe it only flashes at less than 7 psi of oil pressure, either hes got a major leak or the oil pump is going bad(i am assuming that this is not an electrical malfunction), 7 psi of oil pressure is not good at all, hes possibly fucked.....
