Well, I guess the best way I can explain it.. The President is still the Prsident weather he is in the oval office or banging the wife... Just because she wasnt in uniform, doesnt mean your not still a cop..

well if what the cop said to you is as exactly what you said. then you may have a chance with the influence of a lawyer, and no she cant pull you over for reckless driving if:
1. you didnt peel out
2. no swerving
3. you used the proper turn signal procedures with plenty of buffer space between your car the one behind you and possibly the one in front of you
4. werent speeding
5. not paying attention to the lane ahead and the lane you were crossing into
other than that the bitch has no right to accuse you of reckless because her judment at the time is not aided by any mechanical instruments ie. camera mounted on her truck which she was closely following you with or a radar gun.
if anything she should of been the one getting the ticket for following too close for tailgaiting your ass.
if you talk to a lawyer tell them all of what happened and some of this stuff and im sure they will most likely dissmiss the case, yeah she is a cop but has no proof as to what happened nor does the cop that issued you the ticket have proof of what happened and that is all that is necessary in order to convict you in court trust me i just went to court for reckless, and virginia is a meat grinder when it comes to traffic court. no district attorney juat you the cop and the judge. worse come to worse and the try and throw you in jail for some dumb shit appeal it the D.A. is always more forgiving than a judge will ever be.
sorry for the short story but thought i would share that lil bit of info.

so fucking what who the hell is her friend in this equation martha fuckin stewart your lawyer with have a field day with that bitch and the judge wont even pay attention to her because she is just some ordinary ass hoe. her word doesnt mean shit unless you were going to court for murder or something of that sort
