Default dsm 1g intake manifold on a 2g

if i bolt my 1g intake manni on the 2g without a port matched head.

will i see gains
will it leak.
or should i just do the 1g TB on her.

i was gonne keep it simple and bolt the whole intake manifold on to the motor

but i dont know if the bigger ports with a non matching head will cause issues

any adivce on this?

well the incoming air is going to slam into the smaller ports in the head causing turbulence and probaly a screwed up air fuel mixture. i would think it would hurt it more than help.

I agree, I wouldn't do that mod unless I got a 1G head or my 2G head ported. Also you might as well do the 1G TB at the same time. I doubt the TB would cost much more, I have a pile of them I'd sell for next to nothing.
