Why are Radar Detectors illegal in Va?
Why are radar detectors illlegal in VA? I'm looking for the real reasons. Im doing a paper on it for class. So please someone help me out!

cuz its a commonwealth and we are in one of two states who dont allow radar detectors. i believe hawaii is the other one....its hard to speed here anyhow cuz u have a policecar every one mile, every 7-11, and anywhere and everywhere.

Va sucks...you cant do anything here...but seriously...if you want to know exactly why...just go to a police department and ask them...i used to have one...but sold...being that what was already said, they are on every damn corner...good luck tho

They are like everything else...they are only illegal if you get caught with one...heh.
Is it true they have radar detector...detectors?!? And i guess there is a such thing as a radar detector detector blocker correct? Confusing stuff. Either way i do way too much highway driving without one.
