Well, I sold the chromed out 2001 r1 about a month and a half ago and have been dying to get another bike. I finally decided to get another bike and today I picked up a 2003 R1 with only 1600 miles. I will post pics up tom. of her but I was excited and wanted to post early. The chrome bike is the old one and the stock one is the new baby

nah man. i always end up putting way too much money in my toys and never recovering any of it, so this one i'm just going to enjoy riding. probably by the time i sell it i will have managed to con myself into polishing the frame and subframe, chroming the wheels and swingarm, and buying a tinted screen; but i dont want to officially say that. lol

 

the 03 and the 01 dont even feel like the same bike

03 shit load faster and boltons do so much now u can say how slow the 01 felt !

 

ya there's a def. difference even with all the stuff done to the 2001. i love the 03 so far.

 

i feel you 100% there, i keep telling myself the same thing about my 05, but lately i've been finding myself looking at pipes online, bad, bad!
