My dad just bought my sister a 2001 Civic EX Coupe to commute back and forth from college.. the paint is in excellent shape and interior is also in perfect shape. however the engine bay has like built up dirt and stuff inside from driving it around the construction roads in D.C. Anyone know any cheap places that will like steam clean an engine bay for cheap? I did my own engine bay before on my Eclipse but my dad is afraid i'll fuck something up because it's my sister's car and she doesn't know crap about cars incase it breaks down.

do it yourself, it's really easy, just make sure you cover important electrical components covered w/a plastic bag (ie: altenator, dist., intake filter, etc), spray w/engine cleaner, and rinse off, but don't soak or water log and you'll be fine

Id say do it yorself if not a dealership will do it, i know a guy the comes to office buildings and details that would do it pretty cheap. depends on your location

I work at Brown's Sterling Nissan... i get free car washes and shit all the time... I could get u my cost to get the engine cleaned if you want... I'll ask the service manager tomorrow about how much
