i had to road test a z8 today. nice car! didn't have much room so i only got to play around in 1st -3rd. pretty fast! but it really got me thinking. you know how you add a part to your car here, do this to it, do that...it never really seems to make it much faster. but this stuff adds up. you get used to the power that your car makes and it still feels slower then you were hoping. well, thats when you go drive a supercar like a 911 or a z8 or a corvette. then you reallize your mods have paid of very well. i like my car a little more then i did before i drove the z8! :0)

Are you a sales guy up there or do you work in service? I was up there a few months back when I was trying to trade up to a M3 and talked to a couple people but I can't remember any of their names now. I think I scared off the salesperson when I asked him if it would void my warranty if I autocrossed the car... I mean, what the hell else would you do with an M3?

very cool - i remember a few years ago when they first came out i was out in seattle on biz and we stopped by a "car toys" style shop - they had 2 on their lot - both over $200k sticker - but thats when they were getting much more than stock and b4 the dot.bomb crashes.
