Mike (MP5) has been running his boosted b20 hatch for probably a year or more now. He runs decently high boost, and has turned 12.0's at the track. If you get the car tuned right, you won't have a single problem. That and don't drive around bouncing off the revlimiter every day.

thats definately sick, but ive heard of many problems reguarding the sleeves of the b20's. it would be in his best interest to consider that weakness when dropping his new motor in.

It would be in his best interest to listen to people who have first hand experince rather than people who read about others fucking up and think thats the case for every motor.

Basically a BONE STOCK b20b will do fine with boost IF you TUNE it properly. That means no FMU no SAFC etc.

My setup is a bone stock B20b out of a 97 CRV. Stock headgasket and so forth. Skunk2 intake manifold and a pieced together turbo kit. I run 14lbs on a turbonetics t3/t04b 60-1. Been doing so since last summer and i delivered pizza in the car from last september to the end of may putting 50-100 miles on it a day. And i never took it easy on the car. The best time i have managed to run is a 12.05@111 with my old GSR transmition with 22in slicks missing 5th gear. I put in a LS tranny and 24in slicks and ran a 12.1@120 still in 4th gear and had a slipping clutch.
