And yes, I do eat California Rolls and yes, I know they're not sushi. Sue me. But I also do eat spicy tuna and salmon rolls. Also I've had the Futo Maki roll a few times. And I can't remember what it was call, but a Cali Roll with baked whitefish on top with some sauce. Pretty good. There's others I've had. But some of that stuff can get expensive. Like $8+ for a roll. Nothing wrong with that, you get what you pay for, and skimping on sushi is a bad idea.
Also, Mahi Mah's has a sushi bar. Been there a few times. They're pretty good. Can't remember the prices though ...
Octopus is ok. The sushi I ate, had whole baby octopus on top. lol. It was like the fruit snack "Gushers" when I ate them

.
Eel is one of my favorites! Every time I go, I HAVE to get two peices of Eel.
I know this is a little off topic, but one thing I dont get, is the whole "Sushi here doesnt compare to the sushi in Japan" comment. Just like "real Italian" or "Real New York Pizza" or "real Philidelphia Philly cheese steaks" or even "Carolina BBQ". If you were to take, for example, a authentic Italian cook straight from Italy, used the same exact ingredients here in the US as he/she would in Italy, wouldnt the meal taste the same as if you were eating it in Italy? So the same would go for sushi or anything other type of food.
