For street cars braided sleeving is nice too, if you don't need to worry about dirt or moisture in the harness (which split loom doesn't protect against either). Braid makes a great abrasive cover though, and it's easy to use. It's basically the quality versions of the cheap crap that you see a lot now on computer power supplies and that type of thing. Gamers are obsessed with it apparently, and I've started seeing the cheaper grades in tons of different colors.
