Good luck having a judge give a shit unless you can prove your speedo is off. Then you may have a chance. They don't give a shit about that excuse anymore. He will ask you why it was off. You will say you have aftermarket wheels. He will ask you why didn't you check the calibration. You will be speechless.

I'd say pay it. And before you doubt me, I have witnessed this twice just the week before last.
