Re: clutch question guys for boostin
stage 3 shold be good enough....heres the specs of what im getting
F1 RACING Stage 3 heavy-duty Pressure Plate
F1 RACING Stage 3 Carbotic 6-puck Disc
Release Bearing
Pilot Bearing
Alignment Tool
Horsepower Rating: 320 HP at the crank / Torque Capacity: 278 ft/lbs
that should be goood eough for a LS-T setup..any comments
I wonder if its gonna be stiff as hell or soft feel on the pedal

Re: clutch question guys for boostin
on the stage 3 f1 six puck, the pressure plate clamping force is close to stock feel, the stage 4 has a 1900 lb clamp force and feels like a race clutch, the stage 3 is definitely more friendly to the leg muscle.

Re: clutch question guys for boostin
yea thats the truth, but id rather get a workout and a clutch that can hold the power rather than buy a 6 puck clutch with only a little higher than stock clamp force, cause then your simply relying on the pad material and not the force behind it ya know.
ive ran that cluth 3 times, one unsprung,2 sprungs...good clutches at a damn good price, 290 i believe was what i paid....was a nice contribution to snapping 3 differentials, haha, and definitely held all the power.

Re: clutch question guys for boostin
I'm all about Competition Clutch brand. It's a little bit high on the cost side but I've personally used and seen these clutches take beating after beating. Even the standard pressure plate held over 450 whp..... for a long time.
Just remember that the pressure plate is the one that makes the pedal hard to press. The stages on some brands are set via the material of the disc... not the spring tension or the clutch pedal hardness.
