HAHAHA thats funny, cause thas one of the reasons I dont eat at OTANIS....... when they first opened we tried it, there was 2 flys in the block of butter he brought to the table...... never ate there again.

Did they replace your drink for you? Is it possible the waitress was just making a joke to maybe keep you happy? If a waitress said that to me at a Japanese restaurant, I know I'd laugh.

I think you are agreeing with what I said and not realizing it. Hibachi has a very american food taste, in a japanese restaurant. That is basically what I said, it is there for the people who refuse to try the other parts of the restaurant which are more authentic. Its basically just a stir fry, and you don't have to leave your house to get that.

I mean, there's a lot of good food, but much of the traditional japanese food is the peasant class food and it's food of necessity, and it's not good.
Whoa whoa whoa. Jellyfish and octopus are deeeelicious. Fish heads are good for making soup.
