A Stock: S2000+tires+other(-$)
B Stock: RX-8+tires+other(-$)

GS: Mini+tires+other(-$)
HS: Mini+tires+other(-$)
CSP: $3K miata+tires+other($$) or $2K CRX+tires+other($$)
DSP: $3K E30+tires+other($$) or 5K E36+tires+other($$)
STS: $50 dollar civic+($$$) just kidding!!!!...well, $500 civic...+($$$)...
There may be others but, like forrest gump..that's all i got to say 'bout that.

Miatas are fun...or you could try an Impreza 2.5RS like me...may take some time to find one, but they are fun and not too expensive either.

As a fromer HS competitor, I can say that the HS mini is an easier (perhaps the easiest) car to be white hot competitive. It's got so little power that you can keep the pedal on the mat for most any course..and left foot brake transitions,sweepers, and turnarounds with the gas pinned, like a kart. No need for big buxx in set-up either.
H stock PAX is actually a welcome, rather than a burden. I have not driven an easier car to get 100% out of..and the brakes are especially noteworthy.
