Glad I'm not riding for a few weeks... the pot holes from the snow plows are ridiculous.. Hit a few "unavoidable" ones that made me say "God damn" in the truck.

hahaha the carb-rebuilding faqs that say JIS phillips screws will strip with american or euro drivers were obviously correct.
I've been checking the net for steel replacement float bowl screws for an ex-250 but have come up short, are there any or are we stuck with the brass ones?

That is just a thought... I am not sure exactly what your talking about... but thought I would offer up the suggestion.

I turned on to Dam Neck yesterday from Holland.. OMG!!! the right lane is ridiculous!
atleast 30 or 40 pot holes before you get to London Bridge. And I mean.. big fuckers!

Oh yeah, i've already done that. I'm just not trying to reuse these when I put it back together. Since this seemed to be a common problem with these carbs I was shocked to not find any steel replacement kits.
