Hey mark, long tome no talk.

I'm sure I don't know all of Newport News, but what I've seen of it in my 16 years living here (Yorktown) there are only 3 places I would be willing to move in that city. Port Warwick, City Center, and back behind CNU (haven't been there in a while.) Any other place that seems like a nice neighborhood, you have to pack heat to get to (over exaggeration)

I haven't too much of a problem in the Denbigh area except noticing alot more bums. Downtown is bad but you should move away from an area that displeases you. I live in the Woodcreek neighborhood behind 7-11 near fort eustis boulevard. I rarely have problems anywhere in the whole denbigh area even when I ride my bike at night for exercise. I also would not be walking around in beechmont at 3 am in the morning by myself that's plain dumb. I did however notice an increase in gunshots fired in the area which does suck. As far as people coming up to me at wawa asking for shit I have not been hassled once anywhere. If you have a nice car in this area and people are eager to pester you when you are just leaving it they are probably checking out the equipment in it.

and beaconsdale, colony pines, windsor great, kiln creek, hilton, hidenwood, brandon heights, i could go on. it really isn't that bad. It's not too great of a city either, but what can ya do?

 

I live in Buckroe/Phoebus area and I deliver chinese food all the way to linkin park, and although there are tons of people I'd rather not encounter on my expeditions, I have yet to be robbed.

 

yeah i live in buckroe off of atlantic and we havent had any problems with anyone.


even when we had all of our parts and tools on the front porch before we got our shed put up. even one of our neighbors remarked that no one has even looked at our stuff.

my roomate had a full gsr motor just sitting on the front porch.

and i used to work or pizza hut and i never had any problems. even when i delivered off of shell rod in the hurricane when there was NO power which = NO street lights. the lady that i was delivering the pizza too was sitting outside on her porch with a candle waiting for me.

 

im sorry, atlantic ave is fucking ghetto.

 

slater ave isnt bad. all of our neighbors are cool and saywe are the most quiet "white boys" that have ever lived there
