this is a good point. Where you start will determine where you end up and althought it might seem like more money upfront it will probably cost you less in the long run to reach your goals as far as power output/ET.
With my WRX i had full exhaust and a UTEC(roughly 2G brand new) and my lowest ET was 13.4 while STOCK ST-i's were running 13.0(both 04 models).

i don't even remember seeing anyone waving in a truck.and just to clearify my first post a exhaust + UTEC is around 2G brand new...not just the UTEC(that would be rediculously expensive for what it does)

ok this is really confusing..im really not sure what I want to do now...its not really reassuring to hear that your tranny can go out just from normal driving on some cases...let alone,not even being able to hit 300awhp safely...
