Yeah, when you see something that destroyed inside the engine, it's a safe bet that something else is wrong too. At the bare minimum the engine should be torn down just to check for more debris or scarring from the original debris.

 

hry ive got a team of of hoda lovers i will put one of the on later but there is a trick you can do loosen up motor mounts jack the motor up start looking oh and the car when the car is OFF the ground push the motor up it will work to check bottom end damage call if you have any questions

tore it down....crank was fukd up...part of a piston was broken off...caps was shaved from the crank touchn it...lol shit was disgustin...

i feel your pain, everytime i turn around it's something new, then you fix it, then something else breaks, it sucks, but goodluck with it. sounds like a good time to build a engine to me!
