sounds like junk really. just dump more fuel into the combusion chamber, yaaay..
it didnt have both... i pulled the seat off to install a power commander and there was a RevTech Digital Fuel Optimizer staring at me in the face. ... I was like... "WTF is that?" I snatched it out and installed the Power commander.

Now I dont know what to do with it... I have another R6 that I could throw it on.. but I think i will just sell it or something.

So what was the point or purpose behind filling in the holes? More rigid?

The purpose of bracing is to increase the rigidity, so yes, but I did it just for aesthetics.

they suck ass. Anything "universal" usually does. Any shop that prefers them, must have some sort of deal with Revtech, and are probably required to say so.

pretty much. Those cheap ones tend to only have a hi/med/lo range, not the mullti-step, multi throttle position adjustment of a PC.

You get what you pay for....

and beyond that, not every power commander changes, or even has the ability to, change the timing. Most modern bike have such advanced timing there's no need to mess with it (unless you spray or boost, and that's a whole different ballgame)

but that's just thin gauge stamped aluminum, from what I can tell, I highly doubt you'll see any real advantage.

BUT, you did say it was for looks, soo....to each their own.

Dynojet makes an Ignition Module that piggy-backs off of the Power Commander.
Some engines respond very well to increased timing and some do not.
